aginary Audience delves into the psychological pressure we impose on ourselves when we feel constantly judged or watched, and measured against expectations that often exist only in our minds. As the show progresses, this pressure shifts. Performers realize the audience they’re performing for isn’t always external—it’s internal. It’s the voice of expectation, anxiety, and self-doubt that accompanies us even when no one else is watching.By the end, we look outward, unaltered by judgment, standing outside the lens—and realizing the audience we feared was, in many ways, imaginary all along.
