Executive Director for Sounds of Summer Program for Educational Travel Adventures
Jordan Garza is going into his fourth year as the Ensemble Director for Rhythmic Force Percussion. He is also the newest addition to the band staff at McNeil High School! Under his direction, Rhythmic Force was a WGI PIO World Championship finalist in 2018 and 2019. Jordan’s varied and successful background with percussion ensemble, electronics, marching band, and indoor percussion provides a strong foundation for the current vision of his percussion programs. Mr. Garza is endorsed by the educational programs of Marimba One, Innovative Percussion, Evans Drum Heads and is an active clinician, percussion arranger and instructor across Texas.
Prior to the year 2020, he was the Associate Director of Bands and Percussion Director at Weiss High School. In 2017, Weiss was named the Bands of America class A Champion, during their first year of existence. In 2018, Weiss HS was one of the youngest schools to ever place in finals at a Band’s of America Super Regional and named the Grand Champion of the Vista Ridge Marching Festival. In 2019 the Weiss HS Percussion Ensemble won the Outstanding Front Ensemble Caption in the large division of the Brandies South Texas Classic. Prior to living in Austin, TX Jordan resided in Houston TX, where he was the Percussion Director at the nationally recognized, Stephen F. Austin HS and was the Ensemble Director at Monarch Independent for the 2017 season. During his time in FBISD, Mr. Garza led the Stephen F. Austin percussion ensemble to multiple championship performances with the Bulldog Band and Angels Dance Team, including the first place finish at UIL Area in 2016. Under his direction the SFA Percussion Ensemble performed a showcase at the 2016 Texas Music Educators Association Convention.
Mr. Garza holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education (Instrumental Emphasis) from Texas State University. During his tenure at Texas State, he was the section leader of the Bobcat Drumline and the Principal Percussionist of the Texas State Wind Ensemble. If free time presents itself, Jordan subs with the Austin Symphony Orchestra, enjoys a good spin class and walks with his new doggie pal Theo. Mr. Garza brings his vision into reality through performance, teamwork and excellence in musicianship.
Originally from Houston, TX, Chelsea Crochet graduated with her Bachelor’s in Music with Teacher Certification from Texas Tech University in 2015. During her time at TTU, she toured four seasons as a performer for Drum Corps International spending the 2010 and 2011 seasons marching baritone for the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps, and 2012 and 2013 marching euphonium for the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps.
Aaron Tucker is a percussion educator, designer, and audio specialist living in Plano, Texas. He studied Percussion with an emphasis in Jazz Performance at East Carolina University. He has had the honor of learning from some world class educators, including Jonathon Wacker, Bill Bachman, Tom Hurst, John Campese, Kevin Shah, Wayne Viar, and Will Goodyear. He has performed all over the country with ensembles ranging from drum corps, to early jazz bands, and has had the opportunity to perform in Lincoln Center, and record for Sesame Street.
Throughout his career, Aaron has worked in various capacities with percussion ensembles such as Palmetto Percussion, and drum corps such as Spirit of Atlanta , Blue Knights, Madison Scouts, and the Academy. In 2018, Aaron helped to guide Carolina Gold Drum and Bugle Corps to a DCA class A world championship and high percussion award. He is also the founder and former director of Alchemy Independent Percussion Ensemble. Aaron maintains a studio of private percussion students, and consults and designs for music programs all over the country. He has had the pleasure of working with BOA Grand National semi-finalists, DCI finalists, and WGI World Championship Finalists.
When he isn’t teaching or writing, Aaron performs with a variety of musicians as a freelance drummer. He resides in Plano, Texas with his wife, Ellen and his furry companion Niko.
Jason Dimiceli is the Executive Director of the Sounds of Summer program for Educational Travel Adventures, and the Tour Director of the 2027 Sound of Houston European Tour. He served on the staff and as Tour Director for several Texas-based European performance tours for high school students, traveling through England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Italy.
Jason served as a high school band director in Texas for 23 years, mostly at McNeil High School in Round Rock ISD. His marching bands were finalists in numerous Bands of America Regionals, the 2024 St. Louis and San Antonio Super Regionals, and they consistently earned UIL First Division ratings. His concert bands were TMEA 6A State Honor Band Finalists, Mark of Excellence National Winners, and consistent UIL Sweepstakes award winners. In addition, his Wind Ensemble was featured at the 2023 Music For All National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis.
Since leaving the classroom, Jason has joined the Music For All event staff, working several Bands of America competitions and the National Concert Band Festival. He is a field supervisor for student teachers for the University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music, observing and mentoring future band directors. He is also on the executive board of WGI World Class Finalist Rhythmic Force Percussion.
Jason is an active adjudicator and clinician throughout Texas, and has presented at the Midwest Clinic, Texas Music Educators Association Convention, and the Center for Educator Development in Fine Arts (CEDFA) Summit. These presentations discuss the importance of creating a culture of positivity in music programs to achieve student success.
Carolyn Holubec is a Registered Pharmacist with over 30 years of experience in pharmacybusiness management. She is currently employed at Pfennig’s Pharmacy in Taylor, Texas whereshe maintains inventory, budgets, and growth goals for the pharmacy. In 2025, Carolyn joinedthe Thrall Community Education Foundation Board of Directors and served as Board Secretaryuntil 2017 when she was elected President of the board. Carolyn continues to serve as TCEFPresident and has helped to grow the foundation into an organization that is a major contributorto the students and teachers at Thrall ISD. In 2022, the Texas State Board of Educationrecognized her with the “Heroes for Children” award for Williamson County. One of Carolyn’sproudest accomplishments is being a band mom for over 20 years. In 2014, her son became amember in RF and so began her interest in seeing RF succeed.
