AUDITION FOR RF INDOOR

EXPERIENCE CAMP
Are you interested in auditioning for RF or seeing what it’s like to be in a WGI World Class Percussion ensemble? Join us for this one-day educational event in Austin, TX. All sections and skill levels welcome!
For just $60, you will get the opportunity to:
- Learn about RF’s style, technique, and fundamentals directly from our world-class staff
- Play on industry-leading Marimba One front ensemble equipment
- Network with current RF members and staff
- Take home the 2023 Music Packet
This camp is for prospective auditionees, percussionists who want to learn more about the WGI activity, or young people who are simply looking to learn a thing or two!
AUDITION CAMPS
Rhythmic Force Audition Camps are open to all students aspiring to join our competitive ensemble. At these camps, students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals, performance approach, and technique that our organization utilizes in competition.
AUDITIONEES MUST ATTEND EITHER AUDITION CAMP #1 OR AUDITION CAMP #2, IN ADDITION TO THE CONTRACT WEEKEND. Experience camp is encouraged for all, but not required to join.

CONTRACT WEEKEND
November 20-21, 10:00am-5:00pm both days are required. All members will be cast at this two-day mandatory final audition.
CAMP FEES AND REGISTRATION
Experience Camp: $60.00 (includes 2023 Music Packet)
Audition Camp #1 and #2: $50.00 each
Contract Weekend: $110.00 (includes 2023 Music Packet)

REQUIRED PARTICIPATION CRITERIA
Must be a current performing member of a musical ensemble, not including Rhythmic Force.
According to the guidelines set by the Texas Color Guard Circuit and Winter Guard International, performers must be between 14 and 22 years of age. Percussion ensembles from the United States competing in the independent classes and composed of members not over 22 years of age as of 12:01 a.m. on April 1st of any given year shall be permitted to compete in contests governed by WGI.
Must be able to financially commit to the ensemble and you must not owe money to another organization.
