AUDITION CAMPS

Rhythmic Force Audition Camps are open to all students aspiring to join our competitive ensemble or wanting to get a taste of what Rhythmic Force Percussion and WGI are all about. At these camps, students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals, performance approach, and technique that our organization utilizes in competition.

Rhythmic Force is proud to partner with The Den Collective to host our 2021 workshops and auditions.

To be a part of the our competitive ensemble, you must meet the criteria as stipulated by WGI. Come live a day in the life of a WGI performer, and get a taste of what the 2021 competitive season has to offer!

CAMP DATES

YOU MUST ATTEND AT LEAST TWO WORKSHOPS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A CONTRACT AT THE FINAL AUDITION.

Workshop/Audition #1: September 12-13, 9:00am-5:00pm

VIRTUAL/IN-PERSON CAMP
Workshop/Audition #2: September 19-20, 9:00am-5:00pm

Battery will be virtual
Front ensemble will be in-person in Austin, TX

IN-PERSON CAMP
Workshop/Audition #3: October 3-4, 9:00am-5:00pm

All sections will be in-person in Austin, TX

WORKSHOP/AUDITION #4
Final Audition: October 24-25, 9:00am-5:00pm

REQUIRED PARTICIPATION CRITERIA

Must be a current performing member of a musical ensemble, not including Rhythmic Force.

According to the guidelines set by the Texas Color Guard Circuit and Winter Guard International, performers must be between 14 and 22 years of age. Percussion ensembles from the United States competing in the independent classes and composed of members not over 22 years of age as of 12:01 a.m. on April 1st of any given year shall be permitted to compete in contests governed by WGI.

Must be able to financially commit to the ensemble and you must not owe money to another organization.
